New Dolls

April Dolls

Today was my first attempt at making my own boots for my dolls. 

A little rough, but I learned a LOT. 

Tomorrow I'll try again, using what I learned. 

Hopefully, they'll be prettier. 

The brown boots in the back were made by Fairlight Dolls. 

She is the one who kindly shared with me how to do polymer clay boots. 

I look forward to making my own boots!

New Dolls 2017 - Meet Becky!

Becky turned out awfully cute. She is wearing a brand new outfit - a black checked maxi-skirt with a long sleeved black top. Underneath, she is wearing recycled white knee-high boots.  Her hair is soft and wavy, and reaches past her waist.   A lovely girl!

New Dolls for 2017 - Enrique!

Today I began restoring dolls for the 2017 Season and it felt so good to get back into the swing of things.

For my first makeover, I chose Enrique.

Enrique came to me from a farmer's market buy. He needed a bath and a haircut. First I took off the old face and gave him a hot bath. Then I repainted his face, giving him some softer eyes and cute freckles, and put him in some new clothes.  I think he really came to life!
